Hello everyone! Welcome to my year in between!

Yes, I did call myself a betweenie. I think it has a fun ring to it. “Gap year” just sounds like you’re falling threw a giant crack in the earth and “taking a year off” sounds lethargic. I’m a writer, yogi, traveler and outdoor enthusiast, so I want to make the most of this year while doing some fulfilling work at the same time.

Several months ago, I decided to leave a failing relationship and move 600 miles away from Arkansas. I stayed with my parents in Illinois for a few weeks before the “what the eff am I going to do now?” question got the best of me. I got to thinking that it would be a good time to take a year off from settling down to travel, roam and wander. Then I was off!

I traveled around the Midwest for awhile, sauntered all over Panama, and ended up in Chicago for a month. Soon I’ll be off for Denver for March and then… Well, who knows. By then it will be spring and ripe time for traveling… or well, who knows!
